amelia fauchelle is a photographic and fabric artist presently living and working in naarm/melbourne. she is interested in acknowledging the everyday fleeting moments and is preoccupied with the mundane. exploring themes around the passing of time, memory, light, and colour she engages with alternative photographic practices to create often dreamlike and ephemeral works. fauchelle’s works are often underlined with environmental themes and she is passionate about developing a sustainable practice. recently this has taken her into exploring external environments, while also incorporating sculptural techniques to challenge the definition of physical ‘photography’.
